Clarissa Moon

About Me
Clarissa Moon is an Orlando-based actor, singer, improviser, violinist, and theatre journalist. She has been performing professionally in Central Florida for over a decade, working at theatres such as the Orlando Family Stage (formerly the Orlando REP) and Orlando Shakes. Clarissa sings at venues across Florida for Entertainment Central Agency, which she joined as a vocalist in 2017. She recently joined Flight Scene, a country/pop a cappella group from Broadway Beach Entertainment.

As an improviser, Clarissa trained at SAK Comedy Lab, where she was a member of the Lab Rats and Next Gen ensembles. She has also trained in improv with Second City and studied under Rich Talarico (writer/producer on SNL and The Tonight Show) in comedy and sketch writing.
Clarissa has played violin since elementary school and performed in orchestral and chamber music ensembles for nearly a decade. She also played violin and composed music for The Street of Crocodiles at Theatre UCF.
Clarissa has worked as a theatre journalist since 2016 at publications such as the Orlando Sentinel, Broadway World Orlando, Orlando Weekly, and WMFE 90.7 News. In 2018, Clarissa was chosen from a nationwide search to be a student reporter for The Broadway League at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards in New York City, where she interviewed Broadway stars such as Laura Benanti and Victoria Clark.

Clarissa has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida. She works as an actor at Universal Studios, where you can find her performing in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
In her spare time, Clarissa enjoys reading (particularly Greek mythology), baking along with The Great British Bake Off, and tending to her many plants (and yes, they all have names).
